The United States and Australian Standard Bifold Door system is advancing with the launch of the Series 100 Aluminum Bi-Fold Door, the third in a series of twelve aluminum product lines slated for release this year and in 2017.
The Series 100 offers a range of low-E, argon-filled dual pane glass options compliant with AS1288-2006 standards, including laminated glass, low-e glass, double glass, single glass, enhanced winter-performance glass, and Neat low-maintenance glass. Each pane boasts a low U-value for improved energy efficiency. Additional glass options such as triple-pane, laminated, and security glass are also available.
Designed as a sleek, modern barrier between indoor and outdoor spaces, the door features an extruded aluminum design sealed with proprietary Insulbar technology for optimal energy efficiency. It boasts a Design Pressure rating of 50 against the elements and is currently undergoing testing for hurricane impact resistance. The door's head load carriers and hinges are capable of supporting various panel weights, and its stainless steel ball bearing rollers ensure smooth operation. Additionally, it includes a concealed multi-point locking system and an optional flush sill.
The Series 100 door is available in heights up to 12 feet, with options for standard or heavy-duty hardware (custom only), single or split-finish choices, and an optional 90-degree configuration (custom only). Customers can access it through Australian Door Systems’ custom and volume channels.
